Biography
Though I’m originally from the West of France, I was fortunate enough as a child to be able to do some of my schooling in the small town of Beamsville, Canada. After eventually moving back home to France, I attended university and studied digital graphic design.

However, it was during the summer holidays away from campus where I first discovered what would later become my passion and my future career. Whilst working as a reception director for minors and BA-FA training, I unearthed a zest for teaching young children.

Back at uni for the start of a new term, I continued to develop my interest, initially working part-time with disabled children in Nîmes. After graduation, I went on to do more work in this field.
I passed the National Education Concours in 2011 and acquired full teacher status (CRPE) in France. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to have experienced teaching in New York as well as in France’s first bilingual state funded school in Paris where I took ownership of a pilot class for “reading and writing in kindergarten”.

In 2014, I joined my long-term partner here in Haute-Savoie, where I have spent the last eight years working very happily in local bilingual schools.

In my spare time, I love drawing, literature and spending time with my young family. I also write children's books.

I am a very positive person. I always look on the proverbial ‘bright side of life’. That is why it’s been such a thrill these last few years working as head teacher of a school so aptly named, the Brightside Academy!
